Hi there. My name is Trine Jensen, founder of Success on My Own Terms. I want to make a video for you today on the subject of disappointment and getting in my own way. For me they are very connected. What that means is that, when I get in my own way and I realized it, then I usually end up being really, really disappointed with the fact that I did that, that I allowed that to happen that kind of thing and all this sort of critical stuff comes in, so I want to make a tapping video on that.

I just want to tell you what I always remind you of which is that, you are more than welcome to follow along with my words and just repeat them. As we get started, your own words start to come into your head, then definitely substitute your words with my words because your words will be more specific to you and tapping works better when we are very, very specific about the events that we tap on and the feelings that we tap on and expressing them. The most important part, even more important than the words actually is to be tuned in emotionally to the subject material that we’re working on. Let’s get rolling. Take a breath, sit back.

Even though I get really disappointed with myself sometimes, I completely and deeply love and accept myself. Even though I get really, really, really disappointed with myself sometimes, I completely and deeply love the and accept myself. Even though I get so overwhelmingly disappointed with myself that it almost stops me in my tracks, I completely and deeply love and accept myself.

I get so disappointed sometimes and disappointment is a feeling that I think is really hard for me to deal with. It really takes me out of my game and it is so discouraging that it sort of stops me in my tracks and it especially happens in the context where I do something, where I get it on my own way and I’m not really aware of it. Then when I become aware of it, I have this sort of big, ‘Aha! Oh, that’s what I’m doing.’

Then, instead of just letting it be it that, ‘Oh, that’s what I’m doing and now I will do something different.’ know that I have to go into this whole super self critical, ‘I can’t believe I did that. I should know better. I have done so much work on myself Jordan on the last God knows how many cheap jerseys years and I cannot believe that I do that and that was just so silly of me. As a matter of fact, it’s not just silly, it’s just plain stupid and I’m a loser and I’m just so disappointed.’

I’m so disappointed that I would do that. I am so disappointed that happened. I don’t know how to handles this feeling of just being so disappointed. It makes me feel like my heart is breaking and like I don’t want to pick myself up. I don’t want to go any further, I don’t want to do this, I don’t like the way it feels.

I kind of feel I turned five years old and I’m just sitting there cheap jerseys and I don’t know in the sand-box, with all the other’s going. I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to play this game anymore. This is no fun. I really get this feeling of sort of like ‘Hm-mm.’ I’m just wanting to throw down everything and I don’t want to play. And that emotional reaction took grown up things and grown up life, is not very useful.

I’d really like to teach myself how to both give space and give voice to the disappointment and some compassion for the fact that most of us keep ourselves up sometimes, most of us do self sabotaging things especially unconsciously and it’s okay. It’s part of being human. It’s okay. I can trip myself up and then I can get over it. I can get disappointed that I did that and then I can let that go and get over it.

I can have some gentleness with myself and some compassion knowing that it’s okay to be human. It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s cheap jerseys okay to do stupid stuff that doesn’t work. It’s okay to learn from it and its okay. It’s okay to just have things happen and to move forward and to not attach a whole bunch of meaning to little setbacks. Big breath!
